Greater New Haven Heart Walk

Yale University, Yale Cardiovascular Medicine, and Yale New Haven Health have again joined forces as proud sponsors of the 2023 American Heart Association’s Greater New Haven Heart Walk! The Heart Walk is an opportunity to raise funds to support lifesaving research for heart disease and stroke.

Mother’s Day Outreach 2023

Yale’s Affinity Groups, Yale Police Department, New Haven Fire Department, New Haven Police Department, CT Police, Yale New Haven Health Smilow Cancer Hospital, Yale Cancer Center, and Greater Purpose are partnering to collect toiletries and cosmetics for mothers at Life Haven, The Apt Foundation, and The Kinship Program. Items are being collected through May 3rd. Donation boxes have been set up around campus. Additional donations can be ordered directly from our Amazon wishlist.

Latine Night At Yale Repertory Theater

WWN - Crochet Night

Have you ever wanted to learn how to crochet but don’t know where to start? Come join us for a hat crocheting party and learn the basics of patterns and crochet stitches. All levels of experience are welcome! Light refreshments will be served. What to bring: any crochet hook sized between 4.5mm-6.0 mm and one skein (360 yards) of medium-weight yarn.

International Women’s Day

Join Yale’s Affinity Groups to celebrate International Women’s Day in various locations across campus on Wednesday, March 8th, from 11:30 am– 1:30 pm. Stop by a location near you to get a flower for yourself, or someone you know, to celebrate International Women’s Day. Suggested donation of $1 per flower is welcomed, while supplies last, to benefit the Connecticut Women Education and Legal Fund (CWEALF).

Join the Yale Latino Alumni Network - YLAN (YLAN) for a conversation with two Yale entrepreneurs in the thick of running ambitious tech startups. Norma Padron (PhD’14), Co-Founder and CEO of EmpiricaLab, and Ben Bartolome (YC’16), Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Walkthrough, will reflect on their career path before embarking on an entrepreneurial journey and share insights gained from building their companies and chasing their dreams. This session will be moderated by Wendy Maldonado (YC ‘93).
