Bomba Workshop With Movimiento Cultural

Breaking Bread Together

Join the departments of Therapeutic Radiology, Genetics, and Laboratory Medicine, along with Yale’s nine affinity groups, for the return of Breaking Bread Together, a cultural food tasting event. During this event you will learn about Yale’s nine affinity groups, discover new cultures; sample food from other cultures; join a community that values and embraces difference; celebrate diversity, inclusion, and belonging; and network with a new colleague.

Cooking Sofrito With the YLNG Co-Chairs

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, join the Yale Latino Networking Group (YLNG) Co-Chairs, Janitza Matta and Ilsa Oltero, for a cooking demonstration of sofrito on Wednesday, September 27th from 5-7 pm at 60 Temple Street, 1st Floor Conference Room. Supplies will be provided for all attendees.

Sofrito is a flavorful and aromatic base used in many Hispanic and Latin American cuisines. While it may not be exclusive to Hispanic traditions, it has become a significant and widely recognized component in Hispanic and Latin culinary cultures.

Back to School Supply Drive 2023

Support the 2023 School Supply Drive. Needed school supplies include: pencils, erasers, 12” rulers, glue, composition notebooks, backpacks, binders, highlighters, markers, crayons, folders, and pens.
Drop off locations are listed on the flyer. Items can also be purchased on our Amazon wish list.
Donations will be distributed in partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Greater New Haven on Thursday, August 24th from 4-6pm.
