Join the Yale Latino Networking Group & Working Women’s Network for an informational breast cancer awareness lunch and learn. The purpose of the session is to:
- Teach women about the importance of early detection
- Help identify and resolve issues that are barriers to accessing screenings
- Guide women where they can obtain low or no cost mammography screenings that are available to them
- Provide information on breast cancer signs & symptoms, current research and treatments options, screening process, and addressing the barriers to health
