Jennifer Medina quietly affects change. As one of approximately 500 Latinos at Yale University, she serves as a champion for other Latinos to pursue higher education, seek a mentor and search out promotional job opportunities. Jennifer is currently the co-chair for the Yale Latino Networking Group (YLNG), a business resource affinity group that helps Latino staff create a sense of community and assists with career mobility. In her role, she has helped to increase the recruitment of Latinos into Yale roles, assisted with providing career development curriculum for Latinos and has coached and advised individuals about careers in the field of finance. Jennifer is also an enthusiastic and energetic public speaker, and has presented on behalf of the YLNG. She uses her talents to educate others about the value of the YLNG, its mission and accomplishments, and she openly shares her personal experiences.
