Abraham Vincenti

Abraham Vincenti is an Organization Development and Talent Development leader who serves as Learning & Development Manager for Yale Hospitality. Originally from Carolina, Puerto Rico, and a proud first-generation college graduate, he has spent more than 15 years partnering with leaders to strengthen workplace culture, develop talent, and improve organizational performance. He believes everyone deserves meaningful opportunities for personal, professional, and organizational development. Abe enjoys fostering professional growth, building community, and creating meaningful opportunities for connection, belonging, and collaboration across Yale.

Rebecca Cespedes

Rebecca currently works as a Project Manager within Yale School of Medicine.
Her background is in research administration and healthcare management. She holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. A first-generation American of Cuban and Venezuelan heritage, Rebecca grew up in Miami before relocating to Connecticut. She previously served as co-chair of YLNG’s Career Development Subcommittee and now co-chairs the group overall, where she’s focused on building community, educating others about Latino heritage, and growing programming that supports Latino staff and faculty across Yale.

Led by the Co-Chairs, the Steering Committee establishes YLNG’s annual goals, and set a roadmap of events, activities, and partnership opportunities for the year. Oversees all committees and ensures alignment with our mission.

This committee supports the professional advancement of Yale Latino employees by organizing mentorship and networking initiatives, creating employee spotlights, and coordinating growth-focused events.

Engagement. Recruitment. Visibility.

This team leads outreach and recruitment across the Yale community, manages communications (newsletter, website, social media), and ensures strong participation in YLNG programs and events.

Programming and Community Engagement

Events. Volunteering. Partnerships.

Plan and coordinate logistics for YLNG and YLNG-sponsored events, lead volunteer initiatives, and build partnerships with organizations and schools in Greater New Haven to amplify YLNG’s impact.
