New Haven Reads needs YOU!

New Haven Reads needs YOU!

Do you have an hour a week to help a child succeed in school? New Haven Reads is opening a fourth tutoring location in early April and we need your help! We have a waiting list of children eager to be matched with a volunteer tutor.

Volunteer tutors work one-on-one with a child for one hour each week using a research-based program that has been proven effective in helping to improve literacy skills (and raise a child’s academic confidence). There is nothing to prepare; we teach you everything you need to know.

Become one of the 300 volunteer New Haven Reads tutors who are making a difference!
