¡Fiesta Latina!

October 8, 2016

For the 6th year, Yale Latino Networking Group is a sponsor of the Peabody Museum’s annual celebration of Latin American cultures:¡Fiesta Latina! on Saturday, October 8, 2016, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, at the Museum. Admission will be free to all on that day.

Volunteers Needed!

Fiesta Latina is also looking for volunteers to help with this great event. There is an exciting line up of activities & timeslots available including greeters, face painters, fossil dig, and many more. Because of the theme of this event and the visitors it brings to the museum, the Peabody would like to have many Spanish-speaking volunteers, but any and all volunteers would be most appreciated and welcome (and lunch is provided).

Those interested in volunteering for ¡Fiesta Latina! should email the Peabody volunteer office at Peabody.volunteers@yale.edu with their name, email, cell phone, an indication of which activity they prefer, the shift/s they can cover, and also if they can speak Spanish. Note that there are two shifts 10AM-1PM or 1PM-4PM unless otherwise indicated, but volunteers are welcome to sign up for more than one shift.
