Event description:

YLNG will be co-hosting a Town Hall with LGBTQ, FLY, and WWN. You will have the opportunity to learn and ask questions about what is being done to improve diversity and inclusion in the context of working at Yale. You don’t want to miss this engaging and timely discussion! Refreshments will be provided.

Questions this forum will address include:

  • What is the current state of diversity and inclusion at Yale for its employees?  Where is there still room for improvement?
  • Of the 4 areas of proposed changes that resulted from the student protests, which if any will impact Yale employees?
  • Other questions audience and Affinity Group members may have for the panel on the topic of workplace diversity and inclusion at Yale

Panelists include Dr. Carl Baum (Provost Advisory Committee on Resources for Students & Employees with Disabilities), Dr. Marvin Chun (Minority Advisory Council and Professor of Psychology), Maria Trumpler (Director of the Office of LGBTQ Resources), Joan Channick (Deputy Title IX Coordinator and Associate Dean Yale School of Drama), and Valarie Stanley (Director of the Office for Equal Opportunity Programs).
